On our five acre Smallholding we have practised natural growing practices for many years, we do not use pesticides, herbicides, weed killers or artificial fertilisers. We capture as much rain water as possible to water the gardens and quench the thirst of our livestock, we believe in working in harmony with the nature that surrounds us and have found the benefits of these practices are enormous. The biodiversity we have nurtured means that the beneficial insect and bird numbers have increased year on year, keeping the pests in check.
